3+1+1 Program in University of York

1. About the Institution

University of York, founded in 1963, is a world-class research University in England. As an important academic member of the UK's Ivy League Russell Group, the World Union of Universities, the N8 University Alliance, the White Rose University Alliance and the European University Union (EUA), University of York not only has strong research strength, but also ranks first in the Teaching League with Cambridge University for the quality of teaching. It is ranked 150th in the QS World University Rankings 2020.


2. About the 3+1+1 Program

University of York, UK officially signed the "3+1+1" Joint Academic Program with SWUFE in 2015. According to the Agreement, students who participate in the program will spend the first three years at SWUFE and the fourth year and subsequent postgraduate studies at University of York. Students will obtain a bachelor's degree from SWUFE and a master's degree from University of York in the UK after graduation.


3. Application

a) Full-time third-year students in School of Statistics

b) Completed all required courses in the first three years in SWUFE with an average score is not less than 75

c) IELTS no less than 6.0 with each part no less than 5.5;
