Institute of Quantitative Economics

General Introduction:

Institute of Quantitative Economics is responsible for the construction of master’s degree and doctoral degree programs in quantitative economics, and has participated in the construction of the relevant courses for master’s degree program in Applied Statistics.

Faculties from Institute of Quantitative Economics are mainly engaged in the research of econometric theory and methods, applied research of quantitative economics, financial quantitative analysis. Institute of Quantitative Economics has undertaken a number of scientific research projects, including National Nature Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation, National Bureau of Statistics Project and other international cooperation programs. The Institute has also built extensive academic exchanges and cooperative relationships with Universities at home and abroad, scientific institutions, government departments and enterprises, and has obtained a large number of research achievements with great academic and application value.

The Institute now has 14 faculty and staff members, in which there are 6 professors, 7 associate professors and 1 lecturer.
